                   Mohammed Noor Mepurath and Biju Luke launched Casa Interiors in 2009. When the crisis hit in 2006, Wipro laid off a large portion of its workforce, and Mr. Mepurath lost his job along with many others. He was also considering starting his own business or seeking for another job chance at a company. Drawing and creating clay sculptures were among his interests at the time. He then made the decision to talk to his buddy Mr. Luke, who had also been affected by the recession, about the situation.

                   Mr. Biju Luke was the project manager for Al-Futaim groups at the building firm. After serving for more than 10 years, Mr. Luke returned to India and started supplying building supplies. While travelling, he got in touch with Mr.Mepurath, a classmate and close friend who was planning to launch an interior design business. They completed a one-year diploma in interiors while working together and having expertise in facilities and building. Mr. Mepurath had the chance to join Globe Kitchen Solutions, an interior design firm, as a partner, while his friend had the chance to supply building supplies. When he left GKS after working there for two years, the concept for their own interior design business took off. And in 2009, on February 11, Casa Interiors was established.
